Whether you run long and slow, fast and hard, in the city, on the trails, or in the mountains, we have got the perfect running pack for you. The Strive series consists of running vests and packs in different models and sizes, with clever features and easy-access pockets.  

The perfect running vest is hardly noticeable. You run with full freedom of movement and are never restrained by your pack. For short runs, the Strive Loop belt will fit the essentials. If you’re going to be out for days, Strive Mountain Pack lets you bring everything you need. In between, there are vests like the Strive Fly for fast races, and Strive 5 and 10 for long runs and commuting runs. 

WHICH STRIVE- RUNNING-VEST-SHOULD-I-CHOOSE?

Running less than 60 minutes 
You probably won’t need a running vest. Choose a Strive Loop running belt with pockets for your phone, keys, windjacket, and energy. 

Fast sessions/races
Choose our most slim running vest Strive Fly, weighing only 113 grams (size XS). 

Running sessions between 1-3 hours
Choose the Strive 5 running vest with space for energy, hydration, and extra layer of clothing. 

Long sessions over 3 hours or run-commuting
Pick the Strive 10 running vest and pack hydration, energy, additional clothing layers, and perhaps a beanie and gloves. The Strive 10 is also excellent for commuters who run with light packing. 

Multi-day running or run-commuting
Choose the Strive Mountain Pack running pack with either a 17+3 liter or 23+3 liter capacity. It’s serves as a perfect running pack for commuting when you want to carry a change of clothes and a laptop. Choose base layers in merino wool or bamboo that dry up quickly and don’t smell.

Strive Fly is designed for fast races. With a streamlined design, it weighs only 113 grams (size XS) and has easy-access pockets for energy and hydration. For city races with water stations, use the Strive Loop running belt to store your phone and maybe a gel. For longer races where you want to bring hydration and extra clothing, Strive 5 or Strive 10 are good options. Choose the Strive Mountain Pack running pack for mountain races where you need to carry a change of clothes, food, and possibly a tent and sleeping bag. The backpack has an ergonomic carrying system that evenly distributes weight for stability. 

Many races have a list of mandatory equipment that you must bring with you. Make sure to follow it so that you are approved to start.

Make your running an adventure and prepare for all the fun by planning ahead for the perfect route and conditions you need to be aware of. Good preparations enables you to have a great idea of what to pack. Strive Mountain Pack has a generous packing compartment and Silva Embrace System ensures a good fit despite the packing volume. The running pack will hug your body and has a tight fit so that you can run smoothly.

The trick when you plan to run far is to pack reasonably. You do not want to run with more weight than necessary. At the same time, that small bag of candy or a deodorant or a little book with crosswords, might be just what keeps you motivated to keep going when the running feels heavy.

If you run between mountain huts there might be fresh water for hand washing your underwear. Otherwise, wash what you need in a closeby lake or river. Choose your baselayer garments in materials such as merino wool or bamboo, it doesn’t smell and also it is quick to dry.

Pack baselayer, headband or a thin beanie and also gloves. Even though the days might be warm thanks to the sun, it often gets chilly during the evenings when the sun sets. And hey, don’t forget the headlamp. And make sure to fully charge it!

 Another piece of advice is to pack a pair of thin and lightweight slippers or sandals. Your feet will be glad to walk around in something else than your running shoes after a day with many miles regardless the surface. Also, make sure to bring sunscreen, mosquito spray and other details that will make your adventure more pleasurable.
