Compasses are our heritage, and SILVA compasses have been the first choice among elite orienteers around the world for a long time.
Our own journey started in 1933 as the three brothers Björn, Alvar, and Arvid Kjellström invented the first liquid-filled compass, and founded the SILVA brand. Not only was it the first compass of its kind, but it also set the global standard for navigation.
Today, we focus on three main user areas: Sport, Adventure, and Work. These are constantly evaluated and updated, and our goal is to offer you high quality products and always feel prepared and ready.
Since 1933, our goal has been to develop outstanding outdoor equipment, and to always keep moving forward. Over the years we have helped people finding their way home, and to travel new roads.
